The Humber Sports Partnership

Humber Sports Partnership support a range of agencies committed to providing high quality sporting opportunities across the Humber. The partnership plays a vital role in developing sport for the whole community, assisting the development of coaches, officials, volunteers and the wider workforce. A growing area of the partnerships work is in relation to community clubs, providing advice in areas which support club infrastructure, growth and sustainability.

Radio Broadcasts promoting local sports

BBC Radio Humberside have recently ran a ‘Sport of the Week’ feature which promoted local sports activity. These were recorded for the Summer Saturdays programme by presenter Marcus Heald.

The HSP assisted Marcus with these features  by identifying individuals and sports to cover during the broadcasts and through this we have acquired the six features and uploaded the audio through our Youtube channel
